Visiting Hungarian State Opera a few year’s ago, we were shown aroud the house and ended up in the, now sadly relocated paint shop. I didn’t take KASPER Holten and I long to realise that this was the perfect location for our staging of “Bluebeards Castle”. Due to renovations in the beautiful building on Andrassy Ut , we staged the opera in the Erkel Theatre nearby. But we brought a copy of the paint shop, as Bluebeards artists studio. this is pictures of the original, the virtual model, and by clicking below, you can see the final result. Cudos to the brilliant scenic painters, that did the replica of their former workspace.
